Worktops are often one of a number of finishing touches to a kitchen remodel or project. Quite often we never get to see the finished room – with all work completed. However, we recently worked with local Essex carpenter and joiner, Mr T, on a kitchen remodel project. We came in to provide black quartz worktops, including upstands and a waterfall finish to the new kitchen island.

We think the black quartz used here is perfect. The polished finish to the quartz perfectly mirrors that of the contemporary-style units – and creates a seemless, elegant look to the kitchen. The waterfall finish to the kitchen island really enhances this and is a real showpiece feature.
